BRISTOL TEMPLE MEADS STATION

The oldest and largest railway station in the city, Bristol Temple Meads, is a vital transport hub serving a dozen trains per day. It was established in 1849 as the western terminus of the Great Western Railway, which operates most services. Also, there are other train operators, including CrossCountry and South Western Railway.

Apart from the station's services, the Bristol Temple Meads train station building is impressive. Simon Jenkins awarded it five stars in Britain's 100 Best Railway Stations, making it one of only ten rail stations to do so.
