EDINBURGH WAVERLEY​ RAILWAY STATION

Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station, or simply Waverley, is the central station serving Edinburgh, Scotland. It is also the second busiest rail station in the country, after Glasgow Central. Opened in 1846 and recently renovated, Waverley station amazes with its medieval buildings and glass-roof platforms, which are well visible from the Waverley Bridge.

​The Waverley is situated between Edinburgh's Old Town and the 18th-century New Town, making it easily accessible from many significant sites. What's more, the railway company owns the North British Hotel, a Victorian and Edwardian-era hotel near the Waverley station.
